WALK IN ZIPPER SPECS
This Walk-In Zipper feature is specially designed to help with dogs who have back pain and may need to be carried places, but picking them up to put them in a carrier hurts too much.
Or for a dog that is just a bit too big for you to pick up… they can walk in all on their own.
- A zipper is installed down the back seam of the carrier,
- When unzipped it allows your pup to just walk into their carrier on their own.
- When zipped, it secures your dog inside the carrier.
- I do sew a fur-guard to the inside of the zipper to help not catch their tail fur in the zipper.
THIS IS ONE OF THE ADD-INS WE RECOMMEND FOR LARGE DOGS
Look at the product information pages for our dog carriers and you will see a drop down menu with suggestions for large dogs. They are based on feedback we have gotten from pet parents who have used our large carriers, and what has worked best for them. Ultimately, the customizations you make to your carrier are up to you.
