Specially designed for summer, the mesh on the sides of this carrier allows the cooling summer breeze to keep your pet comfortable.
As with all of our carriers at Max’s Mom’s Creations –
No 2 dogs are built the same, so I tailor the carrier to fit your pup’s measurements – no added charge.
No 2 dog owners are the same either, so if you would just like the standard carrier, you can do that, but we have lots of “bells and whistles” that you can add on to the carrier to tailor it for you, your lifestyle, and your pup.
SUMMER BREEZE DOG CARRIER SPECS
- Available in 3 colors –
- Navy/Cream Stripe – Made from striped cotton ticking and cotton duck cloth, and lined with durable cotton duck cloth.
- Red/Cream Stripe – Made from striped cotton ticking and cotton duck cloth, and lined with durable cotton duck cloth.
- Classic Black – Made from cotton duck cloth.
- Cut-out on one end lets your dog see what is going on around you
- Mesh inserts in the sides of the carrier between the handles.
- 2 outer pockets built into the back of the carrier for carrying a leash, treats or clean-up bags
- A D-Ring for attaching any add-ons – treat pouch, waste bag dispenser, or travel bottle holder
- Adjustable tether with a clip for securing your pet.
- A wood base, slid into a removable, washable, quilted sleeve, forming a platform that gives your dog comfort, support, and room to move around.

2 Optional Add-Ins exclusively for this carrier (see below for specs)
- Mesh zipped top closure, it will be made from the same strong but ventilated mesh as the sides of the carrier to allow for maximum cooling comfort.
- Roll-up window cover so you can close up the sides if it starts to cool down at night, or if your pet wants a bit more privacy.
NOTE
- Because of the mesh inserts, neither the Inside Zip Pocket nor the Outside Zip Pocket are available on this carrier.
- At any point, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will help you through the process.

THE 4 STEP EASY ORDERING PROCESS
1 - SELECT A CARRIER TO FIT YOUR PET
You have 2 options for how to determine your dog’s size and what size carrier to order.
Pick whichever one you are more comfortable with.

If you would like to use technology to determine the size on your own –
- Go to CARRIERSIZE. MAXSMOMSCREATIONS.COM
- Follow the written descriptions, pictures, and YouTube video for how to measure your dog.
- Enter your pup’s measurements in the form, and it will let you know what size to order.

If you would like to just measure your dog and have me let you know what size to order –
- Look at the last 2 pictures above.
- Follow the written descriptions and pictures for how to measure your dog.

Do not overestimate your dog’s size. Most dogs feel more secure in a carrier that is a bit snug than getting tossed around in one that is too big.

These are only suggestions based on feedback we have gotten from pet parents who have used our large carriers, and what has worked best for them. Ultimately, the customizations you make to your carrier are up to you.
FOR ALL LARGE DOG CARRIERS:
- To make it easier to get your large dog into and out of the carrier, we suggest the Walk In Zipper
IF YOU PLAN TO USE THE CARRIER TO ACTUALLY CARRY YOUR DOG AROUND ON YOUR SHOULDER:

- To help the carrier sit level when carrying your pup on your shoulder, we do suggest at least 1 Adjustable Shoulder Strap
- To help prevent the outside strap from slipping off your shoulder (as well as make carrying a large dog more comfortable) we do suggest the Quilted Strap Pad
* Please note, The standard drop from the top of the shoulder strap to the top of the carrier is 12″, and we make our carriers about 2″ taller than your pup’s height. Therefore, your pups’ height plus 14″ will be the distance from the top of your shoulder to the bottom of the carrier. Let me know if you want to adjust the length of the shoulder straps.
IF YOU PLAN TO WALK YOUR DOG ON LEASH, AND USE THE CARRIER ONLY WHEN STATIONARY (ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, ETC):

- To make it easier for you to carry the dog carrier empty while walking your dog on leash, we suggest the Backpack Carrying Straps
- To make it easier for you to lift your carrier and dog by hand (rather than trying to lift them by the shoulder straps), we suggest the Grab Handles

2 - SELECT THE CARRIER TO FIT YOUR STYLE
Select the Color you would like your carrier to be.
Choose if you would like the Mesh Zip Top (larger pictures above)
- You can add this mesh zipper to your carrier so that you can close the top, but still allow the maximum amount of breeze to cool your pup.
- The zipper is sewn in such a way that, when not in use, it lays flat inside the carrier.
- When it is in use, it does not restrict your dog from sticking their head out the cut-out to look around.
- I sew in a hair guard since we wouldn’t want your pup’s fur to get caught in the zipper.
Choose if you would like the Roll Down Window Covers (larger pictures above)
- You can add these roll-down window covers to close up the sides if it starts to cool down at night, or if your pet wants a bit more privacy.
- A roll of fabric is sewn above the mesh windows
- A strip of hook and loop tape wraps around it to hold it up when your dog needs a cooling breeze
- When the night turns chilly, or when your dog needs a bit of privacy, the covering can be let down
- Strips of hook and loop tape at the bottom hold the cover in place.

I absolutely love our new carrier! The quality of this product is top notch. My dachshund suffers from IVDD and she is a rather long dog that likes to feel completely supported. Unfortunately not all members of our household know how to carry her correctly so that she does feel supported at all times and there is no additional strain on her injured back. With this carrier she feels secure and supported at all times, no matter who is carrying her.

Absolutely thrilled with the Summer Breeze carrier I just received. Excellent craftsmanship! The carrier is well-made – lightweight, but sturdy, and fits my dog perfectly! He jumped into it as soon as I took it out of the box and took a nap – so I would say that he’s very comfortable in it, too. The pockets, tether, add-ons – it’s all very well thought out. Highly recommend this carrier to anyone who needs a safe and secure way to transport their pup!
